TM Release Management allows you to schedule import times by setting a specific release time for each transport level and TM Release.
To use TM Release Management, you first have to activate the feature in Global Settings:
Once the feature has been activated, you will find a new button in the TM Workflow Monitor menu:
You then need to create TM Releases and then assign transport requests to them.
To create a new TM Release, click the white paper and fill in the data:
Release ID: Your own ID can be entered
Release Name: Description of the TM Release
Date: Date of the TM Release
Time: Time of the TM Release
Status: Open for ongoing work, closed for finished TM Releases
Transport level: Level of the TM Releases (where you want to control the import)
Once TM Releases are created, transport requests can be assigned within the TM Workflow.
Assigned TM Releases are visible in the TM Workflow Monitor for the corresponding transport level:
For more details about a TM Release, click on its name:
To reassign or unassign a transport request, right-click on it in the TM Workflow and select the desired action:
Result: The transport request will not be imported until the TM Release time is reached.
