Under work items technical elements are defined, which are necessary for the communication between SAP and the ITSM system.

Currently the following work items are defined:

Search for Issues

That work item defines the popup to select a ticket when creating or releasing a transport request. Additional fields can be added and the position of the fields can be defined here.

An entry with ticket key field must be defined as unique and assigned to the SAP attribute.

The SAP attribute is delivered with the SmartChange Repository.
It is also possible to use other SAP attributes to store the ticket ID defined in the system configuration.

Jump to Ticket

This work items allows to jump from the TM Workflow Monitor to the ticket in the ITSM System .

Update Issue

With that workitem the SmartChange Panel will be updated. The prerequisite is that SAP Transport Integration for Jira App is installed in Jira.

The standard work items are already defined in our templates. By copying the templates the work items will be copied automatically.
