Manage TM Controller
After the app is installed on the Jira instance, the TM Controller to be connected are to configure. Multiple TM controller can be configured and be activated.
Configuration
The configuration can be done from directly from the app installation (Manage apps) by accessing the button “Configure” or by going from the left REALTECH menu “Manage TM Controller”.
Add TM Controller
To add a TM controller press button “+ Add a TM Controller” and the popup will be shown:
Provide a TM Controller name (e.g. the SAP system SID), the SAP system server name and the port. Please check mark “HTTPS” if the connection is secure.
Check connection status
Once the Server name and the Port are supplied the connection can be checked by pressing the button “Check connection”. The result of connection is displayed in the status:

NOTE
The connection check can be done successfully if the browser’s securities are passed (if Jira server is secure then the SAP server must also be secure to perform a call to the server).
After the TM Controller is saved the information is added into the main table and must be enabled to use it.
Project settings
Each project can be activated for SAP Transport Integration for Jira by connecting to a TM Controller.
Activate TM controller
To edit project settings select Project settings > REALTECH settings.
Selecting a TM controller for the project will activate SAP Transport Integration for Jira.
NOTE
When adding or removing a TM Controller from the project, all project’s issues are updated. They are activated or deactivated for SAP Transport Integration for Jira.
Assign SAP development systems
After selecting a TM controller, one or multiple SAP development systems can be assigned:
NOTE
In order to set up a connection from a SAP development system (e.g when an SAP transport is created to update Jira issue) the TM Controller Development systems needs to be configured at a Jira project level.
Project Filter
To edit Project Filter settings select Project settings > REALTECH filter.
Activate integration
The Project Filter configuration is for enabling/disabling the issues that should be part of the integration. For all issues, that matches the filter, the SmartChange Panel will be displayed in the issue details.
TM Workflow action filter
This filter can be used to allow TM Workflow actions only for certain issues. For example, an action is only allowed in a certain status. An action can be created multiple times. Then the conditions are combined with an OR condition.
Following TM Workflow Actions can be added:
Action CREATION
Is relevant when creating a transport request. This filter is used to filter issues that are allowed to be assigned to a transport request. For example, issues with the status "In Progress" or "Selected for development".
The filtering can also be done on parent level if using Task and Subtask in the workflow.
Create a System Webhook
To update the issue properties following webhook needs to be create for Jira Server/Datacenter.
PATH: Jira Administration settings > System Webhooks > Create a WebHook
Add the following details for each webhook -> Create
Name = IssueTMFilterUpdate
URL: <your baseURL>/plugins/servlet/tmIssueFilterUpdate
Events: issue_created and issue_updated
