  • Installation: SmartChange is an ABAP/4 only development that exists in its own namespace. Its installation is as easy as importing several SAP transport requests into the systems involved.

  • SAP release: SAP Basis release 7.31 or later for the current release SmartChange 2019 SP2
    Security concept: Utilization of a proprietary SAP authorization object.

  • Access to client 000 in all involved systems to create technical RFC user.

  • Before using SmartChange license keys for all involved SAP systems must be acquired. Assuming free licenses are available they can be requested via REALTECH service desk.

  • A User with developer key is needed in the development system(s) to activate the REALTECH BAdIs.
