The Integration Framework settings for transport requests have been enhanced to allow greater customization of short descriptions. Users can now add custom text both before (Prefix) and after (Suffix) the standard short description. This update includes:

• New "Short Text Prefix" field: Allows input of text to appear before the standard short description
• New "Short Text Suffix" field: Allows input of text to appear after the standard short description

This enhancement allows for greater customization of transport request descriptions, facilitating easier management and identification based on specific needs.

A new Transport Management (TM) Release feature has been implemented, allowing users to assign releases to one or multiple selected Transport Requests. This feature enhances workflow management and provides greater control over transport requests.

In the latest update, a new feature has been implemented that allows users to reassign a modifiable transport request to a new ITSM/Ticket through the TM Workflow Monitor. This option is visible only if the TM Integration Framework is active and can be used at any point in the workflow via a right-click on a single transport request.

The Transport Request action log has been enhanced to include release-related activities. Specifically, two new actions are now recorded:

1. Adding a transport request to a release
2. Removing a transport request from a release

The Package Administration window has undergone a significant redesign to improve usability and efficiency. Key enhancements include:

• Drag-and-drop functionality for moving transport requests between sections, replacing separate move buttons
• Repositionable divider for customizable resizing of window sections
• Improved visibility of key details, including short text descriptions

This redesign offers a more intuitive and user-friendly interface, allowing for faster and more efficient package administration. Users can now easily organize transport requests and customize their view, enhancing overall productivity in package management tasks.

A new "Manage Release Data" button has been added to the Workflow Monitor, significantly enhancing release information management capabilities. This feature allows users to:

1. Create Releases for multiple transport levels
2. Specify a date for the Release

A new release assignment feature has been implemented in the TM Workflow Monitor, enhancing efficiency in release management. Key aspects of this feature include:

1. New Button: A dedicated button has been added to the TM Workflow Monitor interface.
2. Bulk Assignment: Users can now assign releases to one or multiple selected Transport Requests simultaneously.
3. Pop-up Interface: A convenient pop-up window allows users to choose releases from a predefined list.
4. Status-specific Availability: This feature is available for Transport Requests in queue or signature status.
5. Right-click Option: An additional right-click menu option has been implemented for individual release assignment, providing increased flexibility.

The Transport Management - Workflow Monitor has been updated to include two new columns:

1. Release ID
2. Release Name (Short Text)

This enhancement provides users with immediate visibility of assigned release information directly within the Workflow Monitor. By displaying these key details, users can more efficiently track and manage Transport Requests throughout the workflow process. This improvement streamlines decision-making and increases overall visibility into the release status of Transport Requests.

A new feature has been implemented to manage the import of Transport Requests based on their set release dates. Key aspects of this enhancement include:

1. Automatic Import Delay: The system now automatically delays the import of Transport Requests until their specified release date has been reached.
2. Import Queue Management: Transport Requests with future release dates are excluded from the Import Queue generation process.
3. Improved Timing Control: This feature provides greater control over the timing of imports, allowing for better coordination of system changes.
4. Risk Reduction: By preventing premature imports, the risk of implementing changes before their intended release date is significantly reduced.

The Transport Management Workflow Monitor has been upgraded with a new advanced filtering option based on Release ID. Key features of this enhancement include:

1. Release ID Filter: Users can now filter Transport Requests by specific Release IDs.
2. F4 Help Functionality: An F4 help feature has been implemented, allowing users to easily select from available Release IDs.
3. Enhanced Visibility: The new filter provides better visibility into release-specific workflows, allowing users to focus on relevant Transport Requests for each release.

A new column has been added to the workflow monitor specifically for modifiable requests. This column displays an icon to indicate the presence of Transport Management (TM) attributes for a given request.
It's important to note that this feature is for display purposes only; direct maintenance of TM attributes for modifiable Transport Requests are not supported.

German (DE) translations have been added to the ITSM Configuration interface. This update includes translated text for various elements within the ITSM Configuration settings.

New options were added in ITSM Configuration - Optional Settings. Templates were re-created

An error occurred when reassigning a transport request that had no previous ITSM assignment. The system incorrectly displayed an error message, and the TM Attributes icon was not updated properly in this scenario.

The program has been corrected.

A bug was identified in the Ticket Assignment popup where pressing the check button without entering an issue number triggered an error. This unexpected behavior occurred specifically when the issue number field was left empty and the user attempted to perform a check

In the Transport Management Workflow Monitor, the Ticket ID for modifiable requests was not displayed correctly. Instead of showing the Ticket ID as a clickable link, the system incorrectly displayed the Ticket GUID. This made it difficult for users to quickly access and navigate to the corresponding ticket, affecting workflow efficiency and user experience.

The program has been corrected.

A case sensitivity issue was identified in the Ticket Assignment popup. When users manually entered an issue number and initiated the check using the designated button, the system would erroneously prompt for a check completion even after pressing OK. This error occurred because the system was performing a case-sensitive comparison, expecting uppercase letters, while users often entered the issue number in lowercase.

The program has been corrected.

In the latest update, an import issue has been corrected. A problem was reported when importing Transport Requests through the Transport Management System. The import process failed when a specific configuration was present, particularly when a transport group and client were assigned. This problem prevented the successful import of Transport Requests. An error message indicating that no entry was found in the buffer with transferred data files, leading to the import process being halted.

The program has been corrected.

After upgrading to SmartChange 2019 SP06, users encountered an issue where the transaction /RTC/TM_UPLOAD became non-functional.

A pilot fix has been developed to address this issue.

Users who have already upgraded to SmartChange 2019 SP06 should apply this pilot fix to restore the functionality of the /RTC/TM_UPLOAD transaction. The fix should be imported using the STMS transaction.

It's important to note that as of September 6, 2024, the Update-Assistant in ServicePack 06 has been replaced. Therefore, this fix should only be imported if ServicePack 06 was previously installed.
