How to use the new status switcher /RTC/TM_SW

The new default switcher for ABAP systems can be configured, activated and scheduled via transaction /RTC/TM_SW. It can replace the existing switcher report /RTC/TM_STATUS_SWITCHER, enhancing its capabilities.

Step-by-Step guide

1. Call transaction /RTC/TM_SW.

2. Select a transport level you want to switch from.

3. Click the white paper icon to create a new variant.

4. Enter a variant name and chose level and statuses.

5. Go through the tabs and set your preferences.

6. Save your variant.

7. Activate your variant.

8. Schedule the job, e.g., every 2 minutes (it will execute all active variants).
